The Aquarius 1600/2000 with its roll-to-roll finishing capabilities provides fast, efficient and uniform coatings for extensive outdoor signage applications up to 32 microns coating thickness. Primary Applications The Aquarius 1600/2000 liquid laminator is ideal for coating all solvent and certain dye based 2 inkjet images, in addition to electrostatic images printed and transferred to vinyl and, or wet strength papers, canvas and a variety of other suitable substrates. Used in conjunction with Clearstar Liquid Laminates, your digital output will now be protected from harmful environmental conditions such as scratching, abrasion, UV rays, water and chemical damage. |

The FTC (UK) 60UV & 80UV Coaters are two ultimate full featured, high speed UV coaters designed for coating prints & substrates up to resp. 1524 mm & 2032 mm wide and 7.62 cm thick. These heavy duty UV Coaters offer automated, protective lamination for digital images and are ideal for high production sign & display houses providing a perfect match for a wide range of printing technologies including inkjet & UV flatbed printers. The FTC (UK) 60UV & 80UV coaters are relatively easy to run. Simply insert the image and in seconds it is evenly protected with a scratch resistant, water-resistant, UV-resistant and image enhancing coating. The machines feature variable production speeds from 6 m-32 m per minute. An innovative ‘Ultra Violet Dryer ’ assures high speed curing, resulting in a gloss, matt or lustre finish. The FTC (UK) 60UV & 80UV Pro coaters offer unique features such as: an air knife to eliminate roller wraps, larger diameter coating rollers to eliminate roll deflection, adjustable coat weight and a manually adjustable nip with calibrated display for repeatable accuracy. Rolls of printed material can now be coated with the addition of the optional roll to roll assembly, with a automated rewind station. The FTC (UK) 60UV & 80UV are userfriendly and easy to maintain. They feature an automatic liquid delivery system consisting of three easy switchable lacquer reservoirs. The coating liquid is pumped to the dispensing system from the holding tank below the machine, and the system automatically cycles and filters the coating liquid at precisely the required volume. Daily clean-up is not required because FTC (UK) 60UV & 80UV liquid does not evaporate and only cures when exposed to high intensity UV light. This means the machine only needs to be cleaned weekly depending on use. |
